An Ocado Android app has been released on the Android Market. It lets you place your order from your phone, and even features voice recognition.

The Ocado On the Go Android app has been available since last July, but this new edition has added a seriously handy feature – voice recognition. Just say the name of the product into your phone and the app will do its best to interpret what you’re saying.

Ocado sells more than 21,000 different product, from books to broccoli, so there must be serious back-end behind this tech – unless it just consist of just one very busy man at Ocado’s end receiving dozens of sound files every minute. Read the rest of this entry »

Vodafone is getting prepared to leap in the race to launch ultra low cost mobile handsets for Indian clientele. Still about half of the population does not own a mobile handset and producers and service suppliers similar see a great business potential in the country.Vodafone is scheduling to hurl a mobile gadget chiefly targeting the rural clientele in the country. LG has announced the release of its new LG GW300 mobile phone, that is a budget-priced candybar style GSM handset that features full QWERTY keypad and includes LG’s unique peer management application, LiveSquare which allows keeping track of most frequent contacts in a dynamic and interactive graphical interface.

Samsung Electronics today introduced the Galaxy A (SHW-M100S) to the Korean souk. The novel smart phone is the company’s first Android-powered smartphone available in Korea. Now then, here’s an interesting rumour.
