Zen Z82 Dual-SIM mobile phone review

Zen Mobiles has today introduced in India its new dual-SIM capable Zen Z82 mobile phone that features full QWERTY keypad, 2.4-inch QVGA display and built-in Analog TV receiver allowing reception to terrestrial broadcasts directly on the handset on the move.
Zen Z82 mobile phone is a Dual-SIM (GSM+GSM) capable quad-band GSM 850/900/1800/1800 MHz network ready mobile phone and it has 2.4-inch (6 cm) 262K color capable TFT Touchscreen display and features a large QWERTY keypad that’s well spaced and easy on the fingers with one hand and features a standard Java based user interface which is really fast and hassle free.The dual-SIM capable Zen Z82 is equipped with built-in Analog TV tuner capable of receiving terrestrial broadcasts directly on the handset on the move. But unlike Samsung Corby phone with built-in Analog TV receiver which functions using CDMA based EVDO providing broadband like media download speed, Zen has not revealed any details on how TV broadcast would be received on GSM network ready Zen Z82 handset.
Dual SIM (GSM+GSM) capable Zen Z82 mobile phone offers microSD card support for upto 4-GB expandable storage allowing 1000 entries phone book and 1000 SMS memory and is equipped with Motion Sensor that allows switching tracks and supports few built-in motion sensor based games.
Perhaps the first QWERTY mobile phone in India featuring built-in Analog TV tuner, the Zen Z82 QWERTY mobile phone is powered by customized version of BLAH JAVA operating system for mobiles, and is extremely light-weight and includes 2.0 Megapixel camera with digital zoom with Night mode and white balance function.
The Zen Z82 handset also features GPRS, WAP 2.0/xHTML, Bluetooth connection, Opera Mini browser, FM Radio with recording (AMR/AWB low quality), Audio player with Equalizer, video player for 3GP and MPEG4 files, voice/sound recorder, and built-in Speaker.
In addition, the Zen Z82 handset can also be used as mass storage device and also feature Java support and Java games.
“Mobile handsets with Analog TV have rapidly gained the attention of consumers worldwide. With the launch of Z82, one can now watch Live Telecast & News updates on a QWERTY mobile for the first time in India,” claims Deepesh Gupta, MD, Zen Mobile.
The handset also features Email client supporting POP3 and IMAP protocols, and is equipped with 3.5mm audio out port and a universal all-in-one micro USB v1.1 port connection and applications like world clock, alarm clock, calculator, calendar and stopwatch etc.
The dual-SIM capable Zen Z82 QWERTY mobile phone comes with 900 mAh li-ion battery which provides upto 5 hours talk time and 240 hrs of standby time with full charge.
