The Symbian Anna update brings with it a host of changes, which will definitely be welcomed by all Symbian loyalists. First and foremost, the whole UI has been tweaked, with rounded and larger icons, so as to make it more touch friendly.
Other than the new icons, there is also a new and much improved web-browser on-board. While the browser is not up to Android or iPhone level, it still is pretty good. The Anna update will also bring a portrait based QWERTY text-input system for the N8. There will also be a ‘split view’ text input system, when entering text in web pages and apps. The music player and the photo gallery app have also got minor UI tweaks. All other Ovi apps on the phone like Ovi Maps, Music, and Ovi store have also been updated to the latest versions.
At the moment, the firmware is listed in NaviFirm, which means that Nokia will start rolling out the firmware any moment now. Hopefully, the Anna update for other Symbian^3 based handsets like the E7, C7 and C6-01 will also be released soon.
All Symbian^3 owners need to make sure that they have Ovi Suite v3.1.185 or above installed, for the update to show up.

Now everyone know just how successful the multi-platform mobile game Angry Birds is, but it appears that T-Mobile wanted to take playing Angry Birds a step further, and came up with some smartphone controlled live play of Angry Birds, and we have a video to prove it for your consideration below.

Well Goehot did it to draw attention to his plight with Sony and the PS3 jailbreak lawsuit, so it seems everything is fair game when it comes to putting out a rap, and even includes the multi-platform mobile game Angry Birds.
Yes folks someone has finally got round to p0enning a rap about Angry Birds, and there is video evidence top support it, which of course we have for your viewing pleasure and ear bashing below courtesy of the guys over at Daily iPhone Blog.

Apparently the Angry Birds Rap was penned and rapped by Brandon Shapiro, otherwise known as Bshap and edited by Zachary Durand, and they have a disclaimer on their YouTube page asking Rovio not to sue.

For those that want to learn the lyics so they can rap along to the Angry Birds Rap said lyrics are posted to the YouTube page, while if you want to download the MP3 you can do so by hitting up here.

That’s about it, all you need do now is make the jump and punch the play button to check out the Angry Birds Rap, it’s quite a catchy tune, but I wonder what will be next to get the rap treatment…enjoy.

A little while ago we posted an article stating that Rovio had finally decided to deliver their highly popular multi-platform mobile game Angry Birds to the Windows Phone 7 platfrom sometime in the not too distant future, you can check out that article (here.)

Well that “not too distant future” isn’t that far away as according to an article over on Ubergizmo and by way of Winrumors, Microsoft has now confirmed that the green pig crushing addictive mobile game will play nice on the Windows Phone 7 platform as of the 6th of April.Furthermore, not only will Angry Birds be making its way to WP7, but apparently Rovio will also add a further five titles to their line up and those will be Sonic the Hedgehog 4 Episode 1, Doodle Jump, Hydro Thunder Go, Plants and Zombies, and geoDefence.

Word is all the mobile games will have Xbox Live integration, leaderboards an achievements, so it looks like April will be a busy gaming time for Windows Phone 7 smartphone owners out there.

There are thousands of fans of the multi-platform mobile game Angry Birds and we’ve already seen numerous versions of the game such as a Halloween version and a Christmas version and of course Rovio isn’t going to miss out of love day.

According to an article over on Slash Gear by Chris Burns, and by way of Electric Pig, Rovio is working on a special Valentines Day edition of Angry Birds which sees the game turn pink.Apparently this was released the news by way of a Deutsche Welle YouTube video, which of course we have for your viewing pleasure below, and states…“The designers and game developers at Rovio are currently working on new versions of their game, like this update in pink, due to come on the market on February the 14th – Valentine’s Day.”

The video lasts just over five minutes and gives a little insight into how Angry Birds came about and also makes mention of Cut the Rope. However unfortunately they don’t mention whether the Angry Birds Valentines Day edition will be hitting both iOS devices and Android devices…enjoy.

If you are one of the multitudes of fans that play the multi-platform mobile game Angry Birds, whether on iOS, Symbian, Android or other, you probably know that there is a new Angry Birds game coming out called Angry Birds Rio.Well the Angry Birds Rio game is based around the new 20th Century Fox movie Rio, but what is Rio the movie about? Well according to the official Rio the Movie website, the film is a comedy adventure set in Rio de Janeiro and revolves around the kidnapping of Blu, a domesticated Macaw who is supposed to be the last of his kind, but Blu and his owner Linda discover another Macaw in Rio called Jewel who is also kidnapped along with Blu by animal smugglers and the adventure begins.

In Rio Jesse Eisenberg plays Blu, Anne Hathaway is Jewel, George Lopez is Rafael, Will.i.am is Pedro and Jamie Fox is Nico and Rio the movie is due release on the 15th of April.

So it would appear that Angry Birds Rio is only associated to the Rio movie and those pesky Angry Birds don’t actually appear in the film as far as I’m aware.

A few days ago the first iOS game to use the Unreal Engine 3 hit the Apple App Store but you maybe in two minds whether to purchase Infinity Blade for iOS devices until you see just how well the mobile game performs on an iOS device.

Well that’s been taken care of now by the guys over at TiPb who have done an in-depth review of Infinity Blade which can be check out on their website; however if you don’t have time for that you can check out the video review below.

The Infinity Blade for iOS review video lasts just over five minutes and delivers a review of the game running on the Apple iPad of which they say the controls are “very satisfying” but does require some skill and technique.
